A more
personal note
With the name like Ariadne, I feel an affinity with
Greek culture and history and particularly with Greek mythology. Because of my name,
I am fascinated by the story of Theseus slaying the fearsome Minotaur and finding
his way out of the labyrinth with the help of the silk rope provided by Ariadne.
I am a passionate person and it is my passion to help people develop the skills they need to thrive in all aspects of their life. This is what led me to study psychology.
It was the same passion that led me to found the business, Human Endeavours. The name comes from the sailing ship, the Endeavour. The original HMB Endeavour was a small 18th century British sailing ship, famous for being the vessel commanded by Captain James Cook on his first voyage of discovery to the Pacific Ocean.
Many people may be more familiar with the more recent reincarnation of the Endeavour in the tall ship Young Endeavour that provides challenging and exciting voyages for your people aged 16-23 who want to learn more about themselves and the real world skills of working with others as a team.
My vision for Human Endeavours is to provide similar real world skills for people who want to overcome specific problems and develop more helpful ways of predicting and overcoming problems in the future.
